Madden Media is looking to level up our reporting capabilities to provide more sophisticated analytics, modeling, interactive dashboards, and visualizations that help us and our customers identify trends and empower decision-makers. This role collects, processes, and performs statistical data analysis as data is fundamental to how we collaborate and compete.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of Madden Media’s Research and Analytics team
  • Support our goals of establishing a comprehensive data team across all aspects of data science (acquisition, indexing, data manipulation, visualization, and analysis)
  • Visualize customer data to enable effective decision making with on the fly data analysis
  • Provide strategic reporting for internal initiatives
  • Provide direction and guidance in requirements gathering, ETL concepts, business intelligence best practices, and query performance considerations
  • Assist business intelligence users including internal and customer organization staff

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to present complex data in a succinct, meaningful way to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong interest and aptitude in data analysis
  • Success in building and maintaining customer relationships at multiple levels
  • Strong service orientation towards users
  • Ability to work successfully in a high-paced, team environment to meet departmental goals and deadlines
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet negotiated timelines
  • Critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects in an environment filled with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working with data related to digital marketing and/or the destination management industry
  • Experience compiling, validating, maintaining, delivering complex data sets that are accurate and responsive
  • Two or more years of relevant experience within a data science environment
