Explore Brevard needed a website that captured that sense of discovery while staying practical for today’s traveler. One of the crown jewels of the site is the Land of Waterfalls landing page—an immersive experience that turns Transylvania County’s 250+ waterfalls into an interactive, choose-your-own-adventure. Designed to inspire both seasoned explorers and first-time visitors, the map lets users sort, plan, and discover cascades based on location, hike difficulty, or type of waterfall. Whether it’s a roadside stop or a backcountry reward, this tool transforms trip planning into an exploration in itself—connecting people to the landscape before they even set foot on a trail. It’s not just a feature. It’s a reason to come.

The new events calendar is built for everyone—simple for visitors to explore, and even simpler for local partners to update. From festival weekends to gallery openings, it’s never been easier to find (or share) what’s happening in Brevard.
