Amidst a convention center development project and major convention announcements, VISIT Milwaukee wanted to draw attention to their city’s meetings and convention space offerings, as well as all the cultural experiences Milwaukee offers.
Approach
Madden’s PR team worked with VISIT Milwaukee to built a multi-day press trip that highlighted multiple partners. Madden handled all logistics from booking press trip writers to transportation needs.

SECURING WRITERS
Capitalizing on our strong relationships with Meeting, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) writers, Madden Media secured eight writers from diverse publications and backgrounds, curating coverage across multiple platforms and audiences.
PRESS TRIP ITINERARY
Working with VISIT Milwaukee, we created an itinerary that toured meeting space venues in unique ways. Writers got an in-depth tour of the Wisconsin Center District and the rich cultural offerings of Milwaukee, this included intimate looks from locals into what makes Milwaukee a cultural gem.
MEDIA COVERAGE
Following the three-day trip, all writers published stories about Milwaukee and its offerings, including a cover story on Wisconsin Meetings.
